The die changer, for a metal forming press,
was designed and built by Master
Machine Solutions,
an engineering company specializing in custom
industrial machinery. The changer has an arm
that reaches out toward the press, and latches
on to the die in the press. The changer pulls
the die out of the press, rotates 180 deg.
and pushes the new die into the press. Each
die weighs 15,000 pounds.
