The Northern Cross Science Foundation is pleased to be hosting the 2008 NCRAL Convention! The event will take place on April 18-19, 2008 at the Lakeview Conference Center in Port Washington, WI.

We have an incredible two days of astronomy planned, with David Eicher, Editor of Astronomy Mazagine, topping it all off as the keynote speaker at the Saturday night banquet.

7-13-07: Registration information and forms are now available. Door prize, vendor and activity information has been updated.

1-27-08: Jack Horkheimer has been forced to cancel his appearance due to circumstances beyond his or our control.

2-12-08: The Astrophoto Contest Rules and Entry Form have been posted in the Activities page. More door prizes are listed on the Vendors page.

3-2-08: Bob Manske, honored longtime member of the American Association of Variable Star Observers, will speak at the NCRAL 2008 Convention.

3-8-08: A Schedule page has been added to this website and the preliminary conference schedule has been posted. The schedule will be updated as necessary until the day before the convention begins.

3-12-08: A printable flyer with information on the 2008 NCRAL Convention has been posted. NCSF members and the public at large are encouraged to download, print, and post it to advertise the event.

4-5-08: The Wisconsn chapter of the International Dark-Sky Association is meeting at NCRAL 2008! The meeting will take place at 4:30pm on Saturday, April 19. Please note you must be registered for NCRAL 2008 to attend.

4-9-08: The convention program is now available for download (for the benifit of those who just can't wait to get theirs on-site!)

4-13-08: The convention food and lodging page is now available for download (for the benifit of those who just can't wait to get theirs on-site!)

4-14-08: Space artist James Horvat, who's work has appeared in Astronomy, Sky & Telescope and National Geographic (as well as some CDs covers for Geodesium Records) will join us as a vendor for the convention. He will have a large display of his artwork on-site.
