please join us for the second annual International Sidewalk Astronomy Night!

The second ever International Sidewalk Astronomy Night occurs on April 12. Join us for a night of wonder, looking through telescopes at the wonders of the real universe — right from the sidewalk of your favorite shopping destination!

We will be at Bayshore Town Center after sunset, set up along the sidewalk just to the north of Kay Jewelers (across the street from Alterra Coffee). Once it gets dark, our telescopes will turn to various celestial objects. On the menu for the evening will be Saturn and it's amazing rings, craters and mountain on the Earth's own Moon, colorful double stars and even a star cluster or two.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the night sky, find out how telescopes work, or just spend some quality time with the family. Mark your calendar, and join us on April 12 at Bayshore Town Center for a night under the stars.
